STORY
My name is Ahmed and I am the founder of Pom. I would like to give you a little more insight into my world, my passion for fashion, my interest in caring for the planet and explain how Pom came about.
I was born in the refugee camps of Western Sahara, located in Algeria. I spent the first years of my life there and although the situation was not the friendliest, I was always lucky to be surrounded by the love of my family.

WATER MATTERS
Getting water in the Sahara to survive is no easy task. This resource, which some people perceive as infinite, is very difficult to access for others. In the camps, each family has a large steel container in which we have 2,000 litres per month for the whole family. In my case, for 9 people.
It seems complicated, especially considering that the average monthly water consumption per person per month is about 3,800 litres. However, we were able to do it, month after month. All you need to do is appreciate water, to value it as the indispensable source of life that it is. That is why Pom was born, as a solution to the great abuse of water by this industry.
